Alath-Cad Estate holiday home has a century old cozy Coorg house, which has 5 separate double bedrooms an annex called the Inemane with 3 deluxe double rooms,a suite and an individual cottage. All the rooms have a dressing room and modern bathrooms.The holiday home is amidst a sprawling65 acre coffee and pepper plantation. As you stroll inside the plantation experience a splendid feeling of being isolated from the busy city. The atmosphere is totally unpolluted in every sense. Unwind with a splash in the picnic spot which is on the river flowing around the estate. The holiday home also has a conference room (30 pax) which comes alive as a mini discotheque in the evenings. The granary is the restaurant which serves traditional coorg food

Room 1& 2 : A suite having two bedrooms, a lobby and a toilet.
Room 3, 4 & 5 : Double Rooms each with a dressing Room and a toilet attached. Room 8,9 &10 : Deluxe Double Rooms , with attached dressing room and toilet. Room 6 Cottage, Room 7 is suite

For the more adventures, there is much more to do. You can set out for a walk through the winding coffee plantations and listen to the Mynahs call. Or you can cycle through the breathtaking scenery. If you are a Golf addict, you can go for a game of golf at the nearest golf course, which is 12 km. away. Angler's can do a bit of fishing in the Estate Lake and the river flowing around the estate. For the serious angler's, you can visit the nearby fishing camp, which is famous for Mahaseer. A scenic journey to one of the tallest peaks.
The Taddiandemole, through coffee plantations and open grasslands lined with spectacular waterfalls is a trekker's paradise. Trekking with a local guide familiarizes you to the rare birds, trees and flowers that you come across. Perched amidst dense greenery is the Nagarhole National Park, which is certainly worth a visit .

Food And Restuarant
Breakfast, A fixed menu of local cuisine will be served for Lunch and Dinner. On special request and availability orders will be catered to the tastes of the guests.
Location
Entering the evergreen boundaries of Coorg is an unforgettable experience. If luck is on your side you could spot a Barking Deer, Malabar Flying Squirrel, Wild Boar, Wild Dog, a Panther or, who knows, you may see Sher Khan, the Tiger himself. The magnificent Elephants, herds of them, Spotted Deer, Jungle Fowl and Peacocks are a common sight. As your journey into Coorg progresses you are getting deeper into the coffee country. Evergreen plantations, acres of paddy fields, a dazzling display of flora and fauna and the unpolluted atmosphere is a feast for the senses; that which has to be experienced not explained. The warm and hospitable people of Coorg have their own customs and traditions. They are a clan of warriors who speak Kodava Thak and have traditional attire for special occasions. The men wear Kupia and the women wear Saris (pleated at the back). Married women wear a scarf called Vastra. Alath Cad Estate Bungalow is about 3500 ft above sea level.
Seasons
The evergreen coffee land and reserve forests are beautiful throughout the year. The monsoon is from July to September when the rain is heavy, eliminating most outdoor activities but still good for quite and restful holiday. Best seasons are between October and May. Alath Cad Estate Bungalow is 250 km. from Bangalore. 100km. from Mysore, 160 from Mangalore.
